PC Pro Grad Lands Job at Triple his Pay in 3 Years!

Published by kpelchat under Miscellaneous

Hello Kate,

I was told in my latest interview that they had contacted you for a reference. I would like to thank you for whatever you said – I was offered the job!

I’ll be working as a support desk technician at Columbia College – Chicago.

Just to let you know, and I’m sure I’ve said this several times, I can’t begin to tell you what a positive change in my life PC Pro Schools has made. Prior to attending PC Pro, I was the owner of three small businesses, worked all the time, and took home less than $20,000 a year as everything was going back into the businesses. After starting at PC Pro, I took the advice of one of Laura’s job search classes and “got my foot in the door” at a company for $10.00 per hour. Within three months (and while I was still in classes at PC Pro), I was offered a help desk position for $21.63 an hour. Not only that, but I was much happier with what I was doing for a living.

The position at Columbia is at $33.00 per hour. I’ve literally tripled my income within the last three years, and I can honestly say that it would not have happened without my training at PC Pro Schools.

Again, thank you very much.

John Danovich

PC Pro Student Starting Next Week Shares His Excitement

Published by kpelchat under Student Appreciation

To: Diana Barber
Subject: Re: Orientation

I would like you to know that one of the reasons I am looking forward to attending is that I feel genuine support from you. It’s not that you just want money and that I’m another student or statistic. I really believe that you believe in me and that you want to see me succeed. I appreciate that and think that it will help drive me to prove myself the best that I can. I believe in the personal connection between staff and student and want to learn as much as I possibly can from the staff and the experience I am about to go through. I am ready for a change and this is the opportunity to be happy with my life. I have the resources and support to make myself feel like this is what I was meant to do and I am more thankful for this than you may realize.

I just stopped cleaning windows and took a job offer with Spectrum Health. It’s only housekeeping for now but by the end of my training I hope to be able to transfer to IT. Getting my foot in the door is definitely the first step in a good direction. It is my personal opinion that I will go on to help be a success story in a line of many for people that want to do something better and more meaningful with their lives. I have no doubt that I will be the most successful I have ever been with your help. It was your choice to accept me and that is why I feel that I should let you know how much this means. Thank you so much.

PC ProSchools Participates in Their Annual Accreditation Site Visit

Published by kpelchat under Miscellaneous

Periodically, ACCET (Accrediting Council of Continued Education and Training) comes out to each of our campuses to conduct a thorough review of our operations. They meet with students, graduates, faculty and staff. They call employers and verify our placement results. It’s an exciting and nerve-wracking experience but overall I hopeful the visit will go well!

PC ProSchools Shares All

Published by kpelchat under Miscellaneous

In an effort to become completely transparent we have released the 2008-2009 Career Services Report. We know that there are a few Rip-off reports and Complaint boards posts out there about us. One even questioned the school management and how we sleep at night. So to answer the question…actually, my 3 year old still doesn’t sleep through the night all the time so sometimes I don’t sleep well but I can sincerely tell you, it is not because of the results of our students and grads. I stand strongly behind our school and the successes we have. Check out the report…
