First Day of School Means New Start for Many
My daughter Molly started Kindergarten last week. She jumped on the big yellow school bus and just like that she was off. After a few tears, I pulled myself together and headed to the campus. We had a new track of students starting school that morning too, beginning their 4 month journey to a new career in computers. As they introduced themselves to each other I was struck by their stories. The ups and downs they had endured. How each one had journeyed a different path to get there, yet all shared the same hope. The contrast was striking. For Molly, school was an exciting experience. School for them was the necessary evil to get them to where they really wanted to be.
