Who doesn’t LOVE Laura?

I recently received an email from a student and in it he gave me his feelings about our Campus Director, Laura. She has been with PC Pro for 3 years this summer and has gotten HUNDREDS of graduates jobs in the IT field. So who couldn’t love someone who has changed so many lives? Thanks for all you do Laura!
“Finally, I must commend Laura Polancich who has been outstanding in every way – even beyond the Career advice etc. She constantly goes beyond the call of duty and is very good about returning emails, phone calls and such.
On a number of occasions she has given me valuable advice, in addition to the job leads that keep coming our way too. She conducts herself very professionally at all times and is, without question, a great ambassador for the school. The career nights were always interesting and it is very clear that she puts a lot of time and thought into the presentation she gives. “

Technical Panel in Indy

I am here at our Indianapolis campus and in the desk drawer was a camera with some pictures from the Technical Panel held back in April. I had heard what a great success it was to have 3 successful owners of IT companies address the class but seeing the pictures made it real. Thomas Wagenhauser, Owner of Indy IT Professionals spoke about how to deal with end users and shared what is expected from new IT professionals. Dan Miller, Owner of Veterans Computer Solutions spoke about what determines success in IT and Steve Weigle, Owner of Village Geek Computers told the students how to differentiate themselves from other prospects and troubleshooting 101.
After their addresses, each student participated in interviews with these experts and were given feedback both technically and professionally. A special thanks to the Career Services Department for pulling together such a great event!

Adam Fritz, a current student, sent this in… Just a reminder whenever he thinks about looking in the rear view mirror to stay positive and keep focused on moving forward.
