About the Author, Kate Pelchat, MS. Ed

Kate Pelchat currently serves as the Vice President of Educational Services at PC ProSchools, a Microsoft IT Academy with campuses in Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota and Indiana with more on the way.

Pelchat received a Bachelors of Science in Education at the University of Wisconsin and holds Masters Degree in Educational Leadership. After years of teaching elementary education in Wisconsin and Massachusetts she shifted gears to educational administration working for Sylvan Learning Centers as the Director of Educational Operations in Baltimore, Maryland. She joined PC ProSchools in 2006 and has found working in the post-secondary education sector to be extremely rewarding. Pelchat serves on numerous advisory boards and delivers keynote addresses for graduations, companies and special functions such as the Women in IT convention.

On a personal note, Pelchat enjoys golfing, traveling and spending time with her family.
